Dr. Cohen is absolutely great! He answers all my daughter’s questions and mine. I appreciate the great care she receives with Dr. Cohen.

Doctor Cohen has been my son’s doctor for over 11 years now. When Ryan was born he had a lot of GI issues and doctor Cohen has been following him every since Ryan was at CHOA NICU. Ryan was there for 5.5 months, after his discharge he continued to see Ryan. My son has had a lot of different specialists and by far I have never met one like Dr. Cohen and his team! His nurses Monica and Nancy are awesome! Dr. Cohen is the best! Thank you Dr Cohen!!!

All I hope for is that many of his fellow colleagues follow his footsteps, he is the exception and the excellence..no words to describe his professionalism..

Dr.Cohen took care of our daughter from the time she was 8 months old until she aged out at 21 years old. She was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at 3 months old. I can’t say enough about the compassion, concern, attention, and professionalism of him as a Dr and a human being. Dr.Cohen saw us through many difficult times over the years and was not only there for our daughter but also for our family. He went above and beyond the scope of any doctor by reaching out to other pediatric doctors he knew and sending us to different hospitals up north for specialized tests that the hospitals here didn’t have. He registered us in a study at Harvard where we later found out our daughter had a Deficiency as well as Crohn’s disease that no one else could find. My daughter loved him so much and it was hard to leave him when she turned 21 and go into the “Adult” hospital world where the hospitalists did not understand her diagnosis or show the compassion we had seen before. If you have a difficult… case, Dr.Cohen will find the answer. His staff is wonderful and became like family to us.

We really enjoy our first visit. Dr. Cohen, really made us feel comfy by recognizing we were really neverous... he helped to soothe that with lots of laughs/ jokes. We really appreciate and enjoyed our visit. Our nurse Maria was awesome as well. Swift and to the point. We highly recommend. ????

Dr Cohen was willing to listen. After 8 years of issues and going around in circles with another caregiver, I finally made the appointment with Dr Cohen. He walked in, listened and put together the pieces of the puzzle that others felt were unrelated and was able to order the correct tests, diagnose my son and help him. He was all business and really listened. You see, when I walked in, I had a folder with pictures, medical history and day to day documented records of my child's struggle. I was nervous and felt I had only a few moments to convey why I felt my son needed his help. The tests he ordered provided results and he acted on it. The medication he prescribed has made a big difference. After 4 visits, I see such a big difference in my child's health. Although we have just begun and still have testing to go, he is the one I will depend on and trust. He ranks high as one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is willing to listen and help.

I sought out Dr. Stanley Cohen after realizing my son's symptoms for the past 6 months might add up to Crohn's disease. I read the reviews after I read all his credentials and decided his expertise was more important. I am so glad I went with that because I found Dr. Cohen to be thorough, honest, and caring. As for follow-up and time spent, I disagree with the others because, though he does not waste time with idle chatter, etc., he answers all questions and listens. Yes, he is extremely busy so he keeps it concise and doesn't have time to socialize, but he showed care and compassion in the way he answered our questions, explained things, and quickly set up the proper testing, procedures, and follow-ups. After my son's upper and lower GI, he had pictures and asked to sit next to me to explain everything, what it meant, what he wanted to do next, why, and how he'd handle the details, even the insurance crap. I was upset and scared, and while Dr. didn't acknowledge my near panic, his… calm and kind way of explaining all this info served to calm me. His apparent decisiveness as to what must follow, and how he'd arrange everything, was once more a relief. I feel that the dignity of the man may be misconstrued by some, but there is no doubt in my mind, he cares. I know he took a load off my shoulders with his making sure details were handled for follow-ups quickly and efficiently. When he sat next to me to explain the findings and pics from the procedures,I realized how sensitive and kind this man really is. He's not someone you just hug and stuff, not demonstrative at all, but his expertise, thoroughness, and dignity sure helped me trust him and thankfully, allowed me the comfort of letting him take over confusing details, insurance crap, and care of my son when I was too scared and overwhelmed to do so. He knows and isn't obvious about it, but he's there for us without being obvious or necessarily announcing it. My son likes him, and I feel only gratitude and admiration for this man and expert Dr. Thank you, Dr. Stanley Cohen and thank you to your staff for taking such good care of my son AND me!
