Dr. Stanley Tung Fong, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Fong for about 8-10 years and my wife has been his patient for about 5-6 years. I have been very pleased with his work. He takes the time to hear you out and to examine you. What he doesn't know off the top of his head, he's willing to check it out through the service to which Kaiser subscribes. I give him the very highest recommendation.

I chose Dr. Fong based on the Oakland Magazine's review of the "best" internists in the area. He was slow, careful and calm but not my style at all. Too condescending, and, heavens forbid you should question him on something because he will shut down. He wrote diagnoses in my chart that he did not discuss with me. Too old school, paternalistic. It was as if he was saying, "There, there don't you worry your little head, everything will be just fine." Yuk! One time was enough for me,
