Dr. Stanley Casden Hewlett, MD

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Hewlett. He was thorough and listened to me as though he cared about me and what I was saying. I never felt belittled or embarrassed when I asked him to explain things differently. When I did have follow-up questions after my visit his staff was able to help me, they are very knowledgeable and compassionate, and it was a pleasant surprise. I have been telling everyone about Dr. Hewlett and his amazing staff. I am so thankful that I found them!!

This after a diagnostic surgery and nurse read off notes where a lesion was biopsied and sent to pathology for cancer. Would not recommend as a fellow healthcare provider.

My son recently had an ERCP after gall bladder surgery. Dr Hewlett was very thorough and did an excellent job in removing the stones that were lodged in my sons pancreas.

Not only does he ignore patient symptoms and photographic before and after evidence illustrating his poor surgical outcomes, he lies in patient records and has the worst bedside manner of any so called medical professional I have ever been serviced by. He’s condescending to the utmost even when operating on another Ph.D. Beware of Princeton and beware of sending anyone you love to this butcher. Thousands and thousands of dollars will be expended to undo his poor outcome.

D. Hewlett took excellent care of my husband who needed surgery -- he rearranged his schedule to schedule the procedure quickly since time was of the essence -- husband has done beautifully in the year since the operation -- no problems at all.

Excellent . caring doctor . Staff is as good as it gets .

He does not spend any time with the patient, explaining the diagnosis, plan, procedure or results of surgery. He acted as though we (the family) bored him with any questions after surgery. My mother came home 3 days after surgery to remove a tumor from her pancreas. Instructions were not given. She went to another hospital with 48 ours of returning home. Thank God it's not Princeton and she will not see Hewlett again.

Performed two procedures in past year (gall bladder removal and colon resection). Very talented and caring doctor.
