Dr. Stanley Kimson Jack, DO

I always get the best care and consideration from all of the staff at Boulder Valley Family Practice. Dr Jack and Norine Arnold are both great listeners and are very willing to make referrals and facilitate medication requests as needed. Dr. Jack's manipulations are gentle and effective.

Been seeing Stan and Co. for about 2 years. 63 YOA male. Fell and broke my hands, wrists and arm. Made me feel like I was a partner in my treatment. I did not want pain killers and he disagreed but complied and gave me options in case things got unbearable. When I need something I call in. As appropriate I am referred to a PA. When Stan sees me he always takes a few minutes to see how my wife and I are. He does not fit the "Boulder" label but rather is very down to earth, honest and caring. Hope he'll take my Medicare when I get it.

I broke my back TWICE and have been seeing Dr Jack for almost 6 years. I recently got an MRI because my back has been in such pain that i have no energy during the day. Got the MRI, went in and paid for an appointment to see him. All he did was tap on my back and cracked it(not a good idea at all) and said “you’re fine”. Went to get the MRI and expected some kind of input from him. Called the family practice for my results and they said “your fine”. No contact from Dr Jack himself he truly does not care. I went ahead and called the MRI place myself and got my results. I have 4 bulging disks (right side my T6 and T7; left side my T7 and T8). Why wouldn’t Dr Jack tell me i had bulging disks? Why would he say im fine and not read my report correctly? Super disapointed. Not seeing him ever again. Not a personal Dr and simply does not care. Don’t use him you will not more forward with any results and will have yo do your own research. He does not care.

Dr. Jack is an exceptionally caring doctor. He listens extremely well and makes great healthcare decisions. His staff is always courteous and helpful.

I really like this doctor. I've had some good ones in the past and some bad. This guy is the real deal. He took an appropriate amount of time with me for a first appt. and understood what I told him. I did not feel rushed, and I did not have to pay extra for this.

I have had Dr. Jack as my PCP for a few years now. He has treated me for a wide range of issues from headaches to general issues. He also works with me on a preventative measure to watch my cholesterol as it could become an issue if I do not change my eating habits now. He has worked with me with weight loss, depression, anxiety, general illnesses, female exams, etc. I also feel comfortable with his PA and have seen her before as well for a terrible bronchitis infection. Every time I call or make an appointment, I am treated with compassion and understanding. My questions and concerns are addressed and I am not rushed. The office staff is wonderful as well. I have never had to wait for several hours or days to receive a call back or for a prescription refill. If I call for a quick question, I always receive a call back within an hour or two as they will check to see how I am feeling and if I'm doing okay. If it is urgent, I am immediately called back.I feel Dr. Jack and his staff treat… your symptoms in a caring, professional manner and will continue to work with you offering you support and options for nutrition, supplements, etc. for preventative measures. They are concerned about your complete well being. I have such a good rapport with Dr. Jack and his staff that I feel safe, accepted and comfortable in their care.

I've been going to Dr. Jack for 3 years now and he's seen me through everything from thyroid problems, sinus infections and UTIs to melanoma that required inpatient surgery. His office staff is compassionate and helpful, and I've never had a problem getting an appointment -- even same-day appointments if I call in the morning. And my notoriously doctor-hating husband is willing to go to Dr. Jack for his yearly physicals, which pretty much says it all about his practice and his bedside manner.

Dr. Jack cares for his patients and actually wants to help you find out what's going on. And the front office staff work hard and will get back to me quickly when I call with a concern.

I have been coming to this doctor for a few years now and have noticed the quality of care has gone down. Dr. Jack seems rushed most of the time and the staff seems overwhelmed. I miss his previous receptionist. She was always happy and seemed to make the wait easier and the office more cheerful. I almost feel like I am being run through an assembly line now when I have to go in.
