I had not been feeling well and was sent to have my blood drawn to rule out appendicitis’s or diverticulitis both of which are very serious conditions. The weekend was approaching and our country was in a Pandemic! I called the office and he was the covering physician after telling him the reason for my call since he is not my PCP he said this, I am doing something g right now and will not log into PDL to let me know my test results. He suggested I go to urgent care if I wasn’t feeling well. So instead of logging in to PDL to see if I needed to be admitted to the hospital he would rather I suffer the entire weekend and wants me to go to urgent care! Unbelievable that there are doctors in our city who don’t think our health is a priority!

Dr. Mclain has been my PC for the past few years and I am very happy with the level I care I receive from him. He is caring and takes the time to listen to your concerns, he is not the type who will just write a prescription and send you on your way. I completely trust him with my care and will recommend him to any one looking for a PC.

I can tell you as a former patient, after seeing him multiple times re sciatic pain that was causing my leg to noticeably atrophy, his final diagnosis was that my symptoms were "gestalt" and sent me out barely able to walk & in tears. I ended up having emergency surgery a week later and then a year later both of which were avoidable. And finally an artificial hip, also, avoidable. I am female, I understand he is much more competent with male patients.
