I went to see this doctor for the first time. I was please with the outcome. Experience physician. I recommend.

Dr.Newfield Prescribed medication without fully examining My skin irritation. He barely looked at My skin. He spent approximately 5 to10 minutes in the office with Me. Dr.Newfield did not help me to find out the source of the problem or try to attempt to figure it out. I would not recommend Dr. Newfield to Anyone

Saw him for a consultation re: some fatty lumps/growths around my neck. He started cutting them off without offering anaesthesia. This was my first visit with a dermatologist so I wondered if this was standard. I asked about anaesthesis but he said it would be an injection for each lump/growth removed. All the while he was asking me questions about my job, which I presumed to be his attempt at making small talk to help take my mind off the pain. After the cuts he put some kind of brown stuff over the wounds. He did not immediately bandage the area, said I was a "good clotter," but only after I asked for a bandage because I didn't want blood on my shirt he casually said "that's a good idea." He did not get rid of all of the lumps/growths (I have a lot of them) and said I should schedule another appointment with him. I don't think so.

I saw him only once. He mumbles and it is hard to understand him. He was also in a big rush. I was a new patient and he did not check my skin for cancer. Most dermatologists do this with a new patient. He did not offer me a gown, he asked me to "take off my top and drop my pants". He barely looked at me. He saw some age spots on my arm and hands and without asking permission, he went ahead and sprayed my skin saying something about freezing. The spots he sprayed started to burn immediately after. Now they are more noticeable and look like burn marks. If the medicine he prescribed for me works, I will not be going back.
