I made an appointment and then, due to a scheduling conflict, cancelled the appointment a day later. I then received a threatening letter saying that if I didn't make another appointment within 30 days, I would be "at risk of being discharged as a patient." Really? Suffice to say, I transferred my business to another gastroenterologist.

I've been seeing Dr. Pietrak for 13 years and I love him! He's not only a knowledgable Dr., but he has a great sense of humor and bedside manner. He's very low-key, but don't mistake that for not listening or unfriendliness. He's excellent at what he does, and is always willing to take extra time to talk about my concerns!

Great bedside manner. Busy doctor, but takes the necessary time to treat your illness. I would definitely recommend this physician to my friends and family.

Worst Dr I have ever seen. Did not pay attention to anything I said, did not properly address any of my issues. He scheduled a follow up to basically tell me nothing. Seeing a REAL Dr now that addressed the problem simply.....stay away!!!! THis guy just wants to pad the retirement account.

This dr. has little interest in anything, I was very disappointed. I had been having problems for several months to the point where it was really affecting my life. I set up a consult and said I would need a colonoscopy. I set that up and everything was fine. He decided to give me my test results when I was still under anesthesia (which I dont even remember!!) and scheduled no follow up. He did ZERO to address or solve my problems, which I am still having. This guys in it for the bucks and thats it. Worst DR. I have EVER been to, I wouldn't recommend him to someone I disliked. Hopefully he will retire soon, sure he made his money....only it wasn't helping people.
