Dr. Stanley Perry Sharp, MD

I find some of the staff to be very discourteous, very long office waits, inability to speak with the Dr. outside of an office visit. Refuses to respond when phone call requested.

It takes a long time to get in but that is because he thoroughly listens to each patients concerns. You are not herded through his visit like numbers on a sheet. His staff is very nice and they immediately take care of sending my medications to my pharmacy so I can leave his office and get them when I get to the pharmacy. If there is a delay it is generally the pharmacy.

This is a woman in her late seventies. She is well cared for and supervised. on her last visit he asked her if she wouldn't like to live in a long term care facility. When she said no, she would not, he told her that he could have her put in a facility w/o her consent. This poor woman has spent a terrified week wondering what he might do. This is not a way I woould want a Doctor to handle my case, what about you?
