Dr. Stanley Robert Skonieczki

Dr. Skonieczki is plain awesome! I think he’s a love him or hate him kinda guy. His humor is dry and from reading reviews I think that’s what others may have experienced. Our interaction could not have been more Plesant at WMH. He’s quirky but very thorough and was very good at making us comfortable. Please make your own judgment these reviews are very polarized and it’s just that love of dislike but her was great with us!

Just yesterday went to ER , dr Skonieczki took great care of me. He is very professional with great bedside manors . Asked all needed questions and answered all of my questions. As soon he got blood and urine tests results to make sure about his diagnose he set me up with needed CT , medicines and prescription. I'm really really happy how he took care of me .

I just saw him last week in the ER and Wayne Memorial. He wasn’t just rude, he was crude. I have reported him to the hospital administration. I had expected my doctor to be a professional and he was not. Not by a long shot.

This is the second time we’ve dealt with Dr. Skonieczki. Both times he was very quick to find the problems, kind , concerned and professional. Once the stress of the situation was under control, he was just a nice guy. He even made a follow up call to check on my husband. He’s a straight shooter, so if you want to be coddled and not told how it is, don’t go to him. Would see him again in a minute.

I had the misfortune of bringing my wife to the Emergency Room at WayneMemorial hospital. We had the misfortune of Dr Skonieczki being the attending who treated her.I hope that we never see this Doctor again.He was rude, arrogant and condescending. He argued with me instead of treating my wife. Questioning my wife about her medical conditions she was giving incorrect information. I explained that he needed to talk to me because the information was wrong, he completely blew me off and continued to write incorrect information.. What a quack. I will never come back to this hospital again.

Would not let this quack wait on me again. No bedside manner at all, very intimidating, not qualities I expect from a doctor. Don't know who he thinks he is, but a good doctor he is not. Think he should go back to school to learn about human beings, since that is who he is suppose to be helping. Would not let this guy work on my cat. People come to the emergency room for help, not to be treated like a piece of crap. Wonder how he would feel about one of his family members got treated like that by another doctor.

After reading previous reviews, I am not surprised by the horrible service I received from this physician. The comments he made were so rude. First thing out of his mouth was something along the line of "what so did you read something off the internet and that's why you're here?" Actually no, my mom is an ER nurse for over 20 years and was concerned with my symptoms and suggested I come to the ER just to be safe. Then when I shared some very upsetting news regarding my medical history, he was extremely inconsiderate of my feelings and responded with "well Geez you just threw a curveball at me." Oh sorry my medical problem is so inconvenient for you to handle. I cried after he left the room. Then I waited hours when I was one of maybe 3 people in the ER to get the tests I needed and didn't see him until all the results came back. He then proceeded to continue with his horrible attitude and tell me that "you know sex is bad" and I was responded with what?, no it's not how is it bad? He… says "sex causes bad things to happen." I'm sitting there with my boyfriend of five years, whom I live with, and I'm 23 years old. I don't need your horrible example of sex education. Even when talking with young teenagers, you don't approach sex Ed by saying "sex is bad". This guy just got worse and worse as the night went on and I was glad to get out of there after an 8 hour visit. If you ever encounter this physician consider asking for someone else. He honestly shouldn't even be practicing anymore. The only thing I can thank him for is reminding me why I am pursuing medical school and a career as a physician. I want to make sure people have pleasant encounters with me as a doctor and never have to feel the way this man made me feel as a patient.

Awesome Dr. I am so glad to have seen him. His diagnosis was spot on and he was great to talk to.

This "MD" does not have any professionalism, compassion, or concern for patients. I had to rank a star in order to be able to give a review, but if I were able to, he would certainly not get a star at all from me. Of course, HGH would hire him....he fits right in with the rest of Hazleton area. I hope he comes in the path of the wrong person one day.
