Contributes to the poor outcomes of dementia patients, if you don't die under this physicians care you will most certainly be in a chronic vegetative state.

Should NOT be allowed to practice medicine! He apparently does not understand the clause "first do no harm"! Dr. Szwast is unable to relate to his patients or their family members...he would perhaps be better suited for a research position with a pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Pill pusher, does NOT accurately assess his patients...medication is his first line of defense regardless of the outcome or contraindications.

Dr. Szwast does not accurately assess, treat or care for his patients. His first line of treatment is the use of psychotropic drugs whether they are appropriate or not; especially in his nursing home practice. He has no empathy whatsoever for his patients or their families. If you do not agree with his assessment he becomes belligerent, rude and condescending.

Dr. Szwast does not display empathy, concern or a caring attitude toward his patient's. He is a contracted nursing home physician; his choice of treatment is detrimental to those in his care!

Dr. Szwast's practice is geared toward the geriatric population, he contracts with many area nursing homes which is unfortunate for the residents. He has no interest in treating the patient but rather prescribing medication even if it is detrimental to the recipient. If you enter or a family member reside in a facility where he contracted to see patients I strongly suggest you ask for "outside" psychiatric care, treatment and/or consultation.
