Dr. Stanley William Tokar, MD

I went to Dt Tokar for many years before moving upstate. I have to say that he is a very knowledgeable doctor with a wonderful bedside manner, which unfortunately is hard to come by these days! For those 2 reasons alone I would recommend him to anyone that wants a no nonsense doctor who has longevity. Thank you Dr. Tokar for the many years you took care of me.

I recently was in to see Dr Tokar and I have never in my 20 year visit with Dr Tokar have I come across a rude and unprofessional person from his office. I not only heard her curse but overheard her conversation with Dr Tokar about another employee which to my professional knowledge shouldn't have been addressed outloud. The last two visits was very uncomfortable. She is rude and inconsiderate and shouldn't be in that office. She introduced herself as his girlfriend when she had a fall out with one of his patient in the waiting room.

Dr.Tokar was compassionate,caring and knowledgeable when describing my condition and my prescription instructions. The waiting time was minimal,his staff is always professional and very helpful.

He needs to have a real person answer the phone. I left 3 messages on a tape and was not called back. Time to change doctor when the nurse thinks she has an MD degree! Goodbye Dr Tokar,

When you call the office you get a tape. It took4 times for anyone to call back with my blood work! The nurses think they have medical degrees. I prefer to have the doctor answer my questions! Done with this practice and I have been a patient for a long time.

after 20 yrs of going here I could NOT get an appt he has taken over 3 other retired drs clients and is now so overbooked and grumpy its not worth the wait!!!
