The doctor was patient in discussing the procedure and the long term prognosis. He was sincere during every interaction and exuded confidence that he would be able to successfully carry out the procedure. The doctor clearly enjoys what he does and cares about his patients.

I brought my husband to VHC because of severe stomach pain and passing out. At the hospital, they discovered bleeding from a ruptured artery in his stomach. The ER doctor said he would probably die. Dr. Washington did a surgery where he put a "stent" in and stopped the bleeding. My husband is doing well and left the hospital only 4 days after his surgery. He was kind and made me feel comfortable with his knowledge and confidence.

I must say that Dr. Washington saved my foot from being amputated by some idiot Dr. in Georgia. I came all the way back from Georgia to have Dr. Washington do a procedure which saved my lower extrementies. I am very thankful and happy with Dr. Washington and can't say enough about his professionalism within his field. He is the best. Through and caring about his patients.

Very busy practice. Sometimes cannot spend as much time with me as I would like but I have had excellent results from the procedures I have had performed by him

My daughter injured her artery in her hand following drug use. Her whole hand was blue. Dr. Washington removed the clot and repaired the artery and saved her hand. But more importantly, her sat down with her and convinced her to start rehab while in the hospital. I know he is busy but he spent hours talking to her and even came in on his vacation to see how she was doing. GREAT DOC.

treated my fibroid tumors when I was told only option was to have my uterus removed. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl 2 years after the proceedure.

Dr. Stanley Washington is the worst Radiologist ever. He misdiagnosed my breast cancer causing me to loose my right breast. He was very unapologetic and extremely rude. His bedside manner was one of the worst I've ever had experienced with any doctor ever! As long as this Doctor works at Virginia Hospital Center I will never return to this hospital or recommend anyone go to there Radiology dept. Dr. Stanley Washington is what is bad with heal thcare and he should loose his license.
