Dr. Stanley Zaslau, MD

Dr. Stanley Zaslau entered to reiterate what a previous doctor and I had discussed for over ten minutes. In the process of doing such he stated twice that “I don’t care if you agreed with me or not” and I just nodded my head (a bit confused why he was talking like this because the previous doctor was the most caring doctor I’ve ever met, we were on the same page with diagnosis and treatment) and I told him, “That’s fine you are the doctor and I believe you.” He then spoke again of not caring about whether I believed him or not because “I get paid either way.” What a smug, arrogant response! I feel terrible for those who have been through much worse than me and have heard his tone. I feel bad for great doctors and the nurses that have to be around him all day. Every one of them was very compassionate and made me feel heard, not rushing me. I can’t imagine dealing with this Dr. Stanley Zaslau everyday as the chairman (and head, I believe) of the Urology department. He’d get zero… stars if I could. Please don’t give him a try. You’ll regret it.

My cousin is a patient of this man. He not only botched her surgery, but when she returned to have something repaired, he told her he didn't have time. He told her "Well you're dying anyway" and blew her off. THIS man shouldn't be practicing medicine. He wouldn't allow anyone else to do the surgery to repair that issue, even though for the past SIX years other have. He might think he's GOD but he's not!! He needs investigated for his using people as guinea pigs and also for his going against the code of ethics in how he treats people. DONT use this man for urological issues, he'll mutilate you!

Came in with nerve pain in the same area as the stimulator is implanted, but according to him everything is sunshine and rainbows as far as the stimulator is concerned, and quick to change the subject when asked, if it is not the stimulator, well then what else could it be.

Never wants to listen about what's going on. Finding another DR...

I’m so thankful and grateful for Dr Zaslou. He truly is the best doctor I have ever came across not only as my personal doctor but also in my profession as a nurse working with doctors. Dr Zaslou is fantatastic. I had lost confidence in doctors and in the hopes of feeling better. It’s amazing how I had complete confidence and trust in him after just my first appointment with him several months ago. He told me that he was going to help me and he has done just that. He has helped my and greatly helped to improve my quality of life. I would highly recommend Dr Zaslou to anyone with any type of urinary issues or dysfunction. His office staff is top notch and Cammie his nurse is also one of the best. So thankful for Dr. Zaslou

This urologist is the best i have seen for interstitial cystitis, really knows what he is doing, isnt afraid to try suggestions, and actually cares about his patients.Ty Dr.Z

This doctor was in too much of a hurry, he did my 2 procedures in such a hurry, then at that i was not even numb, but he went ahead and proceeded anyway, was very rude during the procedure, then after i was in an great deal of pain, but nothing was done about that either, maybe he has too many patients to keep up with?

He is great. His staff got a little lost in working out a med change which was frustrating

Spend a great deal of time with me. I had seen 8 doctors before him. He was able to provide me with a diagnosis quickly. I trust his opinions and was happy to be referred to him.

Was able to get a walk in appointment. He saw me within 30 minutes. Very intelligent and put my fears at ease. This one is a keeper.
