I HAVE NEVER MET AN DOCTOR WITH SO MUCH PASSION FOR HIS JOB. HE MADE ME AND MY FAMILY FEEL LIKE HIS FAMILY. EVERYTHING HE DISCUSSED WITH ME ABOUT MY SON WAS ALL TRUTH. HE PUT MY SON INSIDES BACK TOGETHER AND SAVED HIS LIFE. FOR THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. HE HAS BEEN SO STRAIGHT FORWARD WITH NO SUGAR COATING ANYTHING. I WOULD RECOMENED HIM TO ANY ONE. Dr. Poulakidas was wonderful in treating my great-grandson. He was not only a great doctor but was so caring with the patient as well as our family. He explained everything to us and his team was wonderful as well. I would certainly recommend him as the very best burn doctor in the state of Illinois.

Dr. Poulakidas is amazing. He's a brilliant surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. Anytime your loved one is involved in a burn situation, you are highly sensitive to their pain, quality of care, and overall functionality at the end of the day. Having Dr. Poulakidas as the surgeon brought immediate peace of mind for me. He's a confident surgeon and should be with all of his experience. He wants nothing but the best for his patients and he pushes for the highest quality of care all along the way. As we continue to follow-up with Dr. Poulakidas we are very grateful for his time listening to our questions and providing necessary answers without feeling rushed. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. We will forever be grateful for the care you provided!

I am 19 years old and was involved in an accident at work in which I burned my right arm and right side of my face. I was so worried about scaring and my overall recovery and Dr. P was great at reassuring me that I would make a full recovery. He was always there to answer the many questions my parents and I had. He has a great personality and wonderful beside manner. I would suggest him to anyone!

Dr. Poulakidas treated my father for injuries following a terrible fire. He was 100% professional and has an amazing bedside manner. He explained everything fully to all of us. Highly recommended.

This man helped save my life. I was run over by a small semi-truck and developed the flesh eating bacteria in the wound before it could heal.He knew exactly what to do to save my leg. He had a great attitude and listened to me and answered all my questions. I would visit him but they are all so busy that I think I'll get in the way. I am realizing my dream of becomming an interior designer because of him. He is a great doctor.
