I needed to have two surgeries and was very nervous about both! As a result, I had many, many questions. I want to start by saying that Dr. Prada and Mellisa are both amazing people. I was nervous about any procedures for my back, but I knew something needed to be done because I was uncomfortable. They went over several options and decided that ablation would be the best route. Dr. Prada and Mellisa ensured I was well informed throughout every step and comfortable with everything. After years of suffering with Chronic Back Pain, Dr Prada's office set up initial consultation, advise and surmised what could be the issues. After reading results of MRI & X-Rays a recommendation for minimal invasive Double Laminectomy was recommended. The pros and cons were discussed in details. I advised events and time frames I had upcoming and a date that worked around and with all those dates were set. The office was in constant contact and very explanatory of the before and after requirements. The surgery went off without an issue. I was home the early morning after the surgery. I was up walking and following Dr. Prada instructions. Within 4 days I was back to office for 1/2 days. Within 8-10 days I was back full time. Following the instructions, the healing progressed in a very positive manor. My pain level before and after surgery was night and day. 8 weeks after surgery, I was released from follow up from Dr. Prada's office with the recommendations on how to… continue to rebuild strength, this that I can do and things that I shouldn't do. The pain in my lower back went from ongoing, chronic and constant to non-existence. The healing has some discomfort as to all surgeries, but I know feel my quality of life has improved 1000%.
