Dr. Stefan Andrew Topolski, MD

Some reviews seem harsh. I find them unwarranted. Dr Topolski is very competent. He doesn’t super coat his diagnosis and is a “to the point” speaker, which I find honest and refreshing. Here is one of my stories: My son needed a health physical for camp that started mon. The Friday before, desperate, we showed up unannounced, well after office hours and found Dr.Topolski (who didn’t know us)still there. He kindly came out to talk to us and made time to see us on Saturday, even though they were closed on weekends. We didn’t show due to a conflict in scheduling. He called and made time on Sunday. My son and I were treated with utmost respect. The exam was thorough and done with a kindness in his bedside manner. He asked great questions beyond what other drs had done, and gave informative recommendations. We both left feeling great… like we had been heard. I think he is an excellent Dr and highly recommend him as one who goes above and beyond to help his patients even if it’s outside the… box. I found the entrance/waiting area was like sitting in a family living room, very casual and comfortable.

I have seen an inordinate amount of doctors in my life, and Topolski is without a doubt the worst medical "professional" I have ever encountered. He is condescending, dishonest, unhelpful, convoluted, unprofessional and devoid of any positive attributes that could possibly redeem his complete incompetence as a doctor. I have no idea why this person decided to become a doctor, but it is the absolute wrong profession, and I urge you in the strongest of terms to find another PCP. If I can reach at least one person and warn them to stay away from this total hack of a "doctor" maybe the many years I had to deal with him will have had some benefit. The location is a filthy mess, his odd family and pets stroll through the waiting room barefooted, and the staff is unreliable with the exception of Lisa Miller NP, and Wanda, who have my deepest sympathies for enduring such an awful boss and work environment. STAY AWAY. Especially if you have real health issues. You will not find help there.

from the beginning, My previous doctor retired. I switch to Trailside Health. I needed a prescription refilled. After a few days 2 follow-up calls from me and my pharmacy, I finally got in contact with the office. They said they didn't know what the dosage was. They use an answering machine to accept calls. In the past, I made a few calls before stopping in at the office. They said the best way to contact the office was through their portal. I was never able to set up an account. And what about people without a computer or the elderly? Wait time can be long, but that's good if the doctor is giving the time the previous patients need. The final straw was when the answering machine said the Dr. would be out of the office until a certain date. There was no physician on call. Three days after he was supposed to return, I contacted the office to make an appointment. I was told he decided to take another week off, but I could come in and consult via Skype. The consult was… pretty much worthless. Five days later I went to the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital with a serious abscess.

I see different ratings for the same doctors on different sites. They often only have a few people rating them. This kind of information can't be reliabnle at all.
