Dr. Stefanie Lee Gunn

This has happened to me twice now and it’s not acceptable! I went in to see PA Gunn because I knew I was coming down with bronchitis. Had good visit with Stephanie like always, she said the Rx’s would be sent into my pharmacy, Publix Hendrix’s Crossing Lexington. All afternoon into evening I called trying to get my Rx’s. The pharmacy normally when they get it filled would text me. I was so confused as to why I had not received a text. They closed and I didn’t have my 5 Rx’s to knock out this bronchitis so I looked for things around the house that I could take. The next day when I got up I started calling to try and get those Rx’s. I finally found out they were in Walgreens at Dutch Folk. I don’t know where that is and have never stepped in foot in the door. So I called them yes they have my Rx’s, but they don’t have the inhaler they’re out. I’m to sick to drive that far. I call back to Dr’s office it’s New Year’s Eve (nowhere has it said Dr’s office will close early) the answer… service says before 12 noon they’re all gone. WHAT??? The answering service said she would call the Dr. to try and get inhaler. This is no way to treat patients that are sick! Bronchitis turns into pneumonia in me fast if not addressed. No Rx’s now for 2 days and I’m really sick. Oh they’re not open tomorrow and that’s Friday. I have good insurance, but I would have had to go to Urgent Care if I had not called & asked questions. This is no way to treat people! I’m very upset about this happening to me or anyone else!
