Dr. Stefanie Lee Shaver, MD

What a wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor! Dr. Shaver is top notch, in my humble opinion. Never have had to wait an inordinate amount of time, in the office. Excellent 'bedside manner' and works with you to make your health better. Appreciate her and the office staff.

I first saw Dr. Shaver the day before Christmas Eve as a new patient while my primary care physician office was closed. From the time the phone was answered to leaving I have NEVER been treated so kindly and compassionate. The Dr. Is VERY knowledgeable and thorough. She is very patient interested and genuine. She takes her work and oath seriously. Truly, one of a kind.

Doc Shaver is one of the two best physicians I've ever had experience with. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she is very caring and she bends over backward for her patients.When my son broke his hand, she got him in the same day. I can't say enough positive things about her.

My elderly husband had fallen some months before, and gone undiagnosed until we went to Dr. Shaver. She immediately had x-rays done and found that his shoulder was dislocated. She put his shoulder back in the proper position immediately. Next, my husband had fallen, hurt his back and was in constant, extreme pain. He had x-rays ordered by our family doctor, and was told he was just suffering from a bruise. We went to Dr. Shaver and found that he actually had a fractured vertebrae. Dr. Shaver sent us to a radiologist interventionist, who performed kyphoplasty. This immediately repaired the fracture and there was no more pain. I suffered from a severe fall, could barely walk or use my neck and arms. Dr. Shaver knew just where to place injections that immediately relieved the pain, and allowed me to function normally again. She is the most dedicated, capable, and caring doctor I have ever known.

My family and I were on vacation in Blue Ridge when my 2 year old dislocated her elbow. We called Dr. Shaver's office and they told us to come to straight in. The only waiting we had to do was while we filled out the paperwork. Dr. Shaver was awesome and not only fixed our daughter, but she showed my husband and I how to fix it if it happens again. When she found out her office didn't accept our insurance she didn't even charge us! She was extremely caring! While I hope to not have to see her again, she will definitely be the first person I call if we have an incident the next time we're on vacation!!!

The most amazingly interested and concerned medical doctor I have ever met in my life. I would be so happy if my insurance were to allow her to handle all of my medical needs throughout life.

I waited over 3 and a half hours to see Dr. Shaver. My appointment was at 10:00 am. She did not arrive at the office until after 12:00pm. In the end, she gave me vitamin shots. She was very courteous while in the room with me but in the interim I heard her berating her staff because she was 3 hours behind. Her entire morning was spent conducting some kind of staff meeting. I could hear everything because they left the room door open. She finally came in to see me when I threatened to leave because I needed to return to work. Never did apologize.

Very intuitive, right on diagnosis. Great staff, caring and friendly. Thanks Dr. Shaver!

My friend, You have one of the most caring, sweet spirits of anyone I have ever met. You were so helpful in getting my catscan. I have realy learned to love you. I can't say enough good things about you. Your the best!
