Dr. Stelian Paul Bodea-Barothi, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Barothi for 10 years; at the onset of my clinical depression and suicidal tendencies. He has always shown me compassion, respect, and empathy; been open and honest, and tells it like it is; and is delightful and cracks me up! Other psychiatrists and hospitals just layered on drugs which made me feel worse and gain weight! But Dr. Barothi looked at all of my meds, looked at my other illnesses (like fibromyalgia & hypothyroidism), got me cleaned up, and put me on less drugs which were much better for me! He cares about his patients! So much so, that he pretty much is always behind schedule because he doesn’t herd us through like cattle. He listens to you and gives you time to share. I’ve referred other friends and family members, and they like him too!

I trust this doctor in every which way. I've been seeing him for 8 years plus and have never felt better in my life. He has an excellent staff. I can't say enough about this doctor. It takes a lot of trust to hand over your mind to a doctor. Dr. Barothi is the best doctor I've ever seen. This is not just psychiatry.

He makes sure that is clients get the best treatment and meds.

Dr. Barothi is an excellent doctor that is skilled in his knowledge of both the medical as well as the psychological side of things. He was able to connect some medical dots that other doctors had not previously done. I highly recommend him.
