Dr. Stelian Ioan Serban, MD

Dr Serban is wonderful. He treated me and suddenly I get a call from his office he is gone!!! No explanation. I have no doctor. This is total abandonment. Unethical behavior

I would not treat or fail to treat a dog in pain, the way I watched Dr. Serban do and fail to do to and for our beloved family member.

You can't ask for a better doctor or a nicer man!

Excellent caring doctor who responds in a timely manner to questions posed through the Mt Sinai web portal. Dr Serban has a clear plan of care to help deal with chronic pain.

Dr. S. told me that the one pain pill is not an NSAID. I later found out it was. I am not allowed to be on those because of my stomach. Don't get me wrong; he does care but relies too much on narcotics and other pills which can do danger later on.

I have been to several pain management doctors in New York but none have been as caring and knowledgeable as Dr. Serban. His support staff is top notch, especially Pamela who will do all she can to get you an appointment asap! I almost wish he was an internist so he could be my general doctor!

Dr. Serban is wonderful, and the staff is very kind and caring! He accurately diagnosed me and treated me! It is hard to get an appointment, since he is always in Mt. Sinai hospital, and sometimes runs behind schedule, but you do get to spend time with him. His bedside manner is wonderful. He really cares about his patients.
