Dr. Stella Pinhas, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Pinhas for years. She is very tentative and pay attentions to details. She helped me numerously finding the right medical solution to problems in hands for myself as well as my family members. She does not rush to jump to the conclusion. She takes time listening to you describing symptoms and asks questions to narrow down to the core issue. Excellent doctor! I consider myself to be truly lucky finding her among so many available doctors in NYC. She is truly a gem! If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, patient doctor who remembers and understands your medical history and knows how to solve complex medical puzzles, she is the one you are looking for. I strongly recommend her!

First of all, she has terrible bedside manner. She basically scared me into believing my disease was not easily curable and immediately jumped to telling me I needed surgery. It wasn't until I saw a specialist that she told me that is wrong and she shouldn't have said that to me. That is when I stopped trusting her. Then today I waited in the office for over an hour. There was one other guy before me who was waiting a long time and he left. I have no idea what was taking her so long. On top of that, it is difficult to see her because she changes her hours around so much. I will never come back to her again. Awful experience.

Dr. Pinhas is a "diamond in the rough", one of the most caring, competent and sweetest doctors I have ever had experience with. She truly goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and cared for. She is a rarity and I would recommend her to anyone. Not many doctors are competent, accurate and spend that much time with you. To my knowledge, she has even won the best NYC physician in during the 90s (not sure the year). If you need a new general physician, she is an excellent choice. :)
