Dr. Stephan Glenn Burgeson, MD

Dr. Burgeson has been my excellent primary care for over 25 years. As the medical care system evolved over all those years, both doctors and patients began to have frustrations over less time spent together. I am so happy that Dr. Burgeson was bothered enough by this fact that he decided to become a concierge doctor instead. Now this doctor and his patients have a much more desirable relationship. As a patient I feel no time pressure at all during my visits. I can reach him directly by phone or email and he responds promptly. This is what a modern medical practice should be like and many extra services are included as well. It is worth every penny! Kudos to Dr. Burgeson for having the courage to start a new kind of practice and I wish him great success!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Stephan Burgeson for over 25 years. We both are blessed with good health and that is due in part to the care we have received from Dr. B. over the years. All physicians in today's world are challenged in trying to give their full attention to their patients needs and concerns while on a clock that, in our opinion has been created by the insurance companies. Having only x amount of time to listen, then diagnose and set a plan for a patient before being compelled to excuse themselves to rush off to the next patient is less than satisfying for the doctor, I'm sure and frustrating for we patients. Dr. Burgeson know that we have a short term and long term plan for our lives and he plays a significant role in working with us to assure our success in our life plan. We are confident that he is there for us and for all of his patients. Gratefully, he has stepped away from the limitations of practice under the insurance company's and has… opened his private practice. Making himself and his associates available to us at a moments notice. This gives us great peace of mind, knowing that one of the best Internists in the city is looking out for our physical well being provides us with a stress free track to living our lives in a healthy and happy mode.

Dr. Burgeson has been my primary care doctor for at least the past 25 years. He has always been available to me; returns my calls, listens to my concerns and treats my conditions. He contacts me after he has seen me to ensure I am improving. Under his new practice model of concierge medicine, he accompanied me to an appointment with a specialist. It was an amazing experience. Both physicians were able to coordinate my care with my input to obtain the very best result for my condition. Everyone has the same information with the same goals and treatment plan. Under his new practice plan, you can reach him directly, call or text anytime. There is no one in the middle translating your concerns. This is the best experience I have ever encountered in the medical field, and I highly recommend Dr. Burgeson for all your medical needs.

Dr. Burgeson has been my primary care doctor for the last 25+ years. He always goes the extra mile to keep me healthy. His new practice gives me 24 hr. access to him and same day appointments. This model of treatment is far better than other "clinic" settings where you have to wait to see your doctor (sometimes days) and you have to wait on hold to talk to an operator who takes a message .... Now I can phone,Text, or email him in real time. Give him a try you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have followed with him for years.

After two years of meeting with Dr's in hopes of finding an accurate diagnosis, I met with Dr. Burgeson. I can honestly say he was by far the rudest doctor I had ever met. He was extremely condescending to me in person and in his dictation. He was so cruel, I walked away from Woodwinds altogether. One week after this appointment, I met with an amazing Neurologist at Noran Neurological Clinic - Dr. Michael Sethna - who performed orthostatics on me, found a significant abnormality, which lead to extensive testing at Mayo Clinic and a diagnosis of POTS. Not only was Dr. Burgeson unbelievably cruel, his arrogance was astounding. He was incredibly wrong, besides. I did call him, after I was diagnosed with POTS, and we did have a nice talk. During this conversation, he was professional, and did apologize. That would be very hard for anyone to do; for that reason, even though I deem it appropriate to warn others, I do have respect for the way that he handled the situation afterwards, and deem… it necessary to share that story as well.
