Dr. Stephan Jeremy Quentzel

I saw Dr. Quentzel for a few years and can confidently say he is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. He was very generous with his time, actually taking time to understand my issues and even continuing to advocate for me as I encountered other healthcare systems and providers after moving to a different state. Unlike some of the other psychiatrists I've had over the years, he centered my choices in the clinical decisions he made. It really felt more like a collaboration than a confrontation. He was also open to more natural and integrative forms of treatment. I truly can't recommend him highly enough.

I waited to submit a review until after working with Dr. Quentzel for several months and I am so grateful to him for his unparalleled level of care that I wanted to submit a review. He listens and never gives up or settles for "ok." He doesn't use the standard script, but explores unique solutions and doesn't stop until he feels it is working. And he is so responsive and never fails to follow-up. Thank you Dr. Quentzel.

Dr Quentzel is a fraud and a sick-o. He writes his own glowing reviews and I fell for it. He is disgusting and uses sexual language from a position of power which is totally against any sense of morality. He is really a sick person and delayed my own mental progress. He treated me like a lesser person because I saw him through a practice that takes insurance, the music institute at Mt Sinai. He acted like he was so important, that it was ok he showed up an hour late. Then he started using disgusting language again, about a gynecologist (first session he said he thought music was sexy). A disgusting person, a terrible psychiatrist, just a total fraud. He should be sued and shut down.

Dr. Q always takes the time to leave no stone unturned. I always leave his office feeling like I've received the best possible care.

When I went to see Dr. Quentzel, my previous doctor had been cycling me through 3 medications at a time, changing them rapidly and sending me through a whirlwind of horrible side effects and mood swings. Dr. Quentzel quickly got me stabilized and then continued to work with me from that point on, not settling for stable but rather striving for the highest quality of life. Unlike other doctors I've had, he actually listens to me and takes into account how I feel about certain medications and treatments. He is patient, knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Quentzel.

Dr Quentzel is excellent -- both compassionate and effective in his treatment. I've been seeing him for about 2 years. I appreciate his patience and thoroughness in answering questions and explaining the science behind my condition, symptoms, medication, etc. His approach is not just to throw medicine at a problem, but to fully examine what I'm experiencing and offer additional homeopathic and lifestyle recommendations.

Dr. Quentzel is exceptional. I cannot recommend him more highly and do not understand the negative reviews. He listens and offers insight that has changed my life. He is creative with solutions, extraordinary with follow-up, and his bedside manner is unparalleled. He has a tremendous sense of humor that makes otherwise very difficult conversations, so much easier.

No good. Run from this Dr.

this fellow should NOT be practicing medicine, let alone pretending to be on the cutting edge of holistic medicine and psychiatry. Outrageous he still has an affiliation with Beth Israel Hospital. Sadly he still practices, but hopefully for not much longer. I learned of his utter incompetence for he was recommended by an another psychiatrist who hopefully knows better by now.

Dr. Quentzel saved my life. Highly recommended.
