I have been with my elderly aunt’s and one of my very best friend’s numerous appointments with Dr. Rosenfeld. He is one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met. His empathy comes through at every visit. He was so patient with all of our questions. He gave us all the time and then some with our concerns. He is always impeccably dressed. If I ever have cancer, he will definitely be my oncologist! I am a patient of Doctor Rosenfeld being successfully treated for esophageal cancer. Many of the posted reviews have greatly undervalued his knowledge, skills and abilities. Whenever we meet he takes his time to listen to me and asks pertinent questions in a courteous and non condescending manner. The medical advice and treatment he has given has been right on and has kept me alive and getting healthier and in talking with some of his other patients, they totally agree. On occasion, I have had to call for something and either he or his nurse resound reasonably quickly and appropriately.

Wonderful doctor. He helped me through a very hard time in my life. There is something very special about this man.

Dr. Rosenfeld sent me for a 2nd opinion at the Mayo Clinic after no action by my surgeon. Mayo said I needed surgery to "fix" the previous surgeries and infections and diagnosed a return of cancer. I came back to Dr. Rosenfeld for my chemo.

I was misdiagnosed as having polycythemia. After having a port implanted and blood withdraws, my symptoms continued to worsen. Lab results showed something was wrong. Frustrated Dr Rosenfeld told me - I am a cancer doctor, I have no idea what is wrong with you. Tagged me as depressed. I had high iron in my blood for years and low iron in my bone marrow. He is a hematologist he should have checked my blood. He was aware that i was a welder welding stainless steel 90% iron. His staff- a great team. But i will never trust his advice again.

Very intelligent but treated me by looking at the chart and lab tests rather than examining me. Appears to listen but then discounted my self report of symptoms and missed diagnosing a serious complication because he did not examine what I was complaining about or follow up with appropriate testing. Poor communication skills. I ended up changing doctors in the middle of my treatment
