Dr. Stephan Zweig, MD

Very poor surgeon. I am a healthy mid 30s male that worked out regularly. When I went to see Dr. Zweig, it was for him to repair an inguinal hernia, immediately after the surgery I began to leak, after sowing me back up, without wondering why I may have been leaking they send me home. I immediately knew something was wrong and tried to tell them as such which was shrugged off as just healing. Since seeing this "surgeon" I have been vomiting, nausea, a swollen groin and can not get my life back until I get whatever damage he has caused reversed, and don't even try to get a follow up with this jerk of a doctor, he will blow you off quick and have his staff do the same. Did I mention that he actually said that if I wanted a micro procedure he said it would count as malpractice and he did not agree with doing them? If they give you this doctor I suggest you look elsewhere and replace the doctor that may have sent you to this Zweig. The man's hands shake for gods sake he should not be… doing anything but be retired. Very, Very, poor excuse of a surgeon.

Dr. Zweig is a talented surgeon and did a fine job on my husband's inguinal hernia. He and the entire Kaiser staff were professional, compassionate, informative and kind. They obviously are happy to go to work each day and that spirit is nice to encounter.

We recently switched my mothers insurance to Kaiser Permente and met with Dr Zweig after my mother was dianosed with Breast Cancer. Dr Zweig was very Professional and reasurring. The day of my mothers mastectomy surgery the nurses and staff were very accomodating. With everyones support and prayer the surgery was a success. My family and mother are very please and grateful that Dr Zweig was sent our way we could not ask for any better! God bless!

Excellent physician, very competent and caring

Hes not a doctor hes a butcher. He doesnt show any compassion or care for his patients,. Kaiser assigns the surgeon to the case, so unless you read his reviews you might get assigned to him. He gives Kaiser the name they overcame some 30+ years known as killers, I dont think he cares it one way or the other. I could write a book on his negative traits and will only say DONT LET HIM TOUCH YOU!!!!

This is the worst doctor ever...he nearly killed my family member!!!Even other surgeons at kaiser hospital want him out.God help you if he does any surgery on you!
