Staff is not friendly at all don't even acknowledge you when you walk in in the morning

With the extra efforts of CareNow UrgentCare's Physicians Referral Assistance, Dr. Casal an was given to me as the only female provider available in my area accepting new Medicare patients. Quite happy with promising referral, CareNow helped me to continue on making the telephone appt. All went wee and my appt. was set until I relayed to them the least of my current medications at which time I was told the Dr. WOULD not see be because of some anxiety-related Rx's on that list. I was not seeking medical attention for these issues in any way nor seeking refill on those Rx's being they were still being made available to me by my previous PCP in CA from where I had relocated 30 days ago. I needed only to have my BP, Thyroid, a sudden case of vertigo attended to as per the clinics instructions. I was refused. I begged & cried (something I NEVER do) informing them I had a complete cancerous thyroid removal and needed Rx management regularly and no appt. would mean dangerously going without… meds was still denied the "priviledge" of being seen by the Dr. - THIS IS NOT FIRST DO NO HARM!!! I can't imagine what feebler elderly patients do in a similar position. The ambulances & ER's turn out to be very expensive. When a senior is I'll and CRYING to neducal professional for help with a medical condition, it is a only an uncaring irresponsible Dr. such as Dr. Stephanie Casalman.

Don't see this doctor if you can help it.

Dr. Casalman is short fused and quick to say "find another doctor"

My first visit was all that I would expect! She listened and responded to all my questions and needs. I look forward to continuing under her care.

I went to Dr. Casalman for a few years and she always treated me strangely. I have tattoos, I believe that she was being judgy, so I quit going to her. My mother still goes to her and in the past year she has started to treat her badly because she has panic disorder, which she has had for most of her life, and apparently once you are over 65, Casalman thinks you no longer need or deserve to have your medication because now you magically will have a fall if you take the medication you have been taking for 30+ years. My mom also has a heart condition. She cut my mom off cold turkey without even any advice or help to wean her down or offer her another medication, even though the medication is one that can cause seizures if you quit cold turkey. It caused my mom such distress that we are lucky she didn't have a heart attack. When my mom tried to speak to her about her concerns about just abruptly stopping a medication she'd been taking for over 30 years, she literally told her "go ahead… and badmouth me on social media, I don't care, and feel free to find another doctor if you don't like it". (My mom doesn't use social media or even have a computer). She is 70 and was not being rude or unreasonable, just scared about being cut off. Why on earth would a doctor treat an elderly patient this way? Casalman is a horrible human being, as well as an awful doctor.

DR CASALMAN ALWAYS FINDS TIME TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS, NO MATTER HOW MANY I HAVE. REALLY APPRECIATES.

Dr Casalman is an excellent Primary Physician. She is up to date on the latest medical and medication. Takes her time with her patients and truly cares about their issues.

I took my mother to see this doctor, only to be turned away at the appointment when they learned she needed a referral to a pain management doctor. The fact that she is over 60, has spinal stenosis, bulging discs in the neck, and essential tremors is evidently not enough justification in this doctors opinion to justify for her to be seen. Evidently this doctor only sees healthy patients, and they are not allowed to be in pain or she will refuse to see them.
