Walked into the doctors office and it is beautiful and smells awesome. The secretary is a sweetheart. The nurse Jaime and the PA Lindsay Cropper Miller’s the doctors daughter is very unprofessional. Lindsay looked like she just rolled out of bed with stains on her scrubs she looked like a slob. Her beside matter is horrible and disgusting. Women beware look at the reviews there is a reason they have a low stars and horrible rating. Do not go to this office.

It took me a year to finally write this review but Dr. Cropper has horrible bedside manner. When I initially got pregnant I began searching for a great OB/GYN in the area and came across Dr. Cropper. I already have somewhat of a “white coat fear” and was feeling a bit apprehensive of about seeing a doctor but I went anyways. The MA that took my vitals asked me about the screening test and if I wanted to do. For some reason I felt compelled to say yes so I said yes and she tells me “good girl” like I was a child. When my husband I finally met with Dr. Cropper after waiting 20 minutes in the room while she took a phone call. She all but said I was too fat to have a kid. Mind you I we a size 10. She made it seem like I was going to have gestational diabetes, pre clampsia and everything based purely on her own opinion as she didn’t have any of my lab results. Needless to say I never returned because of her I sought out alternative birthing option and ended up going to a Midwifery in… Irvine. I came to the conclusion I would rather pay and drive 30 minutes (my insurance would have covered my birth 100% if I stayed with Dr. Cropper) out of pocket and go to Midwifery where I would be treated with dignity and respect than ever return to Dr. Croppers office again. I had a completely natural birth with no gestational diabetes or pre clampsia or C-section, all of which Dr. Cropper was all too ready to do.

BEWARE! Initially, I was thrilled when I walked into Dr. Croppers office it was beautiful and clean. Upon meeting Dr. Cropper I was also very pleased at first. But at my follow up visit I'd expressed to her that I'd like to proceed with the IUD procedure as she and I had previously discussed. Dr. Cropper stated to me that she will not do this procedure for me when I asked her why she stated "I don't get paid back quick enough from medical insurances" and so therefore I needed to get this done at a free local clinic. I was mortified! I pay a lot for my health insurance to avoid using a clinic. I couldn't believe this so called professional doctor was telling me to go to a clinic! Shame on her! Needless to say I never went back to her.

Thought I had found a good OB through word of mouth but was sadly wrong. The office itself is gorgeous and smells great with oils diffusing, but it does nothing more than cause false security and confidence!! Don’t bother questioning her recommendations or asking for more options. If you do so, you run the risk of her dropping you from their care. She is extremely condescending in her communications which primarily come through email. Don’t count on getting ahold of her or speaking in conversation with her about anything. Her bedside manner may seem adaquate but is easily mistaken since most of your appointment is spent on her laptop. She does not read files prior to entering the room and is very heavy process/ systems oriented. Stay within her parameters, do as she says and be induced when she tells you to and all will be well. I’ve spoken with multiple of her patients over the years and all have had similar experiences including each of them being induced! Stay away!!!

Always professional from the moment one calls the office to the visit and follow up. Definitely one of the best in our area!

Dr. Cropper delivered my daughter 6 years ago and was at a shared practice with other doctors. She was nice and supportive at that time. Fast forward to now, she must be overwhelmed and bit off way more than she can chew because she has her own practice now and her bedside manner has fallen to an F-. After I had my daughter by unnecessary c-section, she told me I could try for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) for my next pregnancy. However, she was not supportive of a VBAC at all actually, she was merely “tolerant”. Went so far as to schedule a c-section without my knowledge or consent for 2 days before my due date. I filed a grievance with my health insurance about this because I don’t want any other mother to go through the mistrust and belittlement. Who knows if she was ever even going to tell me that she scheduled the cesarean. I found out because her nurse let it slip when I questioned when we were going to discuss the birth plan more in depth (I was 31 weeks at this point).… I emailed Dr. Cropper about my disappointment in her scheduling surgery without my knowledge and consent, and did she apologize, no. She emailed back that if I have an issue with the plan, here’s the number for a hospital referral line for a new physician. Took no responsibility whatsoever. She also belittled me about my weight the entire pregnancy and kept saying I was going to have a big baby and wouldn’t get the VBAC. I’m a weight lifter and an athlete with a body fat percentage of 13%. I weigh more because of my muscle mass. And, guess what? Baby is measuring in the 43rd percentile via ultrasound.....so he’s not big at all he’s actually slightly below average to average. She’s very rude. I even scheduled all my appointments with her nurse practitioner Tina Moon instead because she is so, so much nicer. If you want a c-section, go to her. If you don’t care about bedside manner and want to be treated like just another body in a seat, go to her. I decided to find a new doctor and just didn’t show up to anymore doctor’s appointments. The doctor I switched to even said she’s heard so many horror stories about Dr. Cropper and she gets a lot of her previous patients who complain about how surgery happy she is. She’s just in it for the money and c-sections pay the huge bucks, so she’d rather cut you open and rip your baby out than be supportive of your birth plan.

Dr. cropper, was the dr. on call for my delivery. From the moment she entered the room, she made it very clear she had more important things she was attending to prior to her arrival. Her demeanor was cold, rude and outright mean. She entered when I was 5cm and just stood there with a cold look on her face. I was delivering all natural––NO epidural! At one point I asked her: "How am I doing?" Her response: "you are doing horrible." And she said it in such a non-caring/non-supportive way! She was very brutal during the delivery! Dr. cropper deserves zero stars if it was an option. I have nothing positive to say about this heartless Dr. Despite my birthing plan which was immediate SKIN TO SKIN and breastfeeding after baby was born. Thank god the delivery was ok and allowed for this, however the moment was ruined when for NO OTHER REASON THAN HER not wanting to stick around another second TORE out the placenta! I was pleading with her to stop and like a monster continued. There was NO… state of emergency. No immediate danger of my hemorrhaging she simply wanted to what they call "manage the delivery" as she can not leave until the placenta is delivered and she did not want to wait for it to be delivered naturally.

The best doctor in the world!! I have never had a better experience than with Dr.Cropper and her team! They know your name when you walk through the door and makes you feel comfortable. Having our baby with Dr.Cropper made this the most enjoyable birth ever. Thank you for being so supportive, honest and kind always! I will always recommend Dr.Cropper and her team for any woman out there looking for an OB/GYN she is the best choice in SoCal!

My first two appointments both lasted about 5 minutes. Very rushed and offputting. On last appointment Dr Cropper didn't recall my pregnancy week, looked it up and got it wrong. She was told exactly, due to IVF. She didn't know if I had had already talked to the genetics counsellor her office had scheduled. She didn't recall my prior preeclampsia or a prior pregnancy. When I told her again that I had been hospitalized last birth, she told me to take baby aspirin prior to week 17 because it would reduce the risks of a repeat (I'm getting close to 17 already!.) But what if I hadn't reminded her of my circumstances? I'm worried that my baby was very small at the ultrasound done a month ago in her offce. She didn't want to do another in her office this time and said to wait 6 weeks for the next ultrasound because there is nothing that could be done anyway (but couldn't she explain or do something to help ease my worries?). On the way out of the office, I asked for my… next appointment to be on a Monday or Friday. I was told Dr. Cropper is not available those days and I was told I could see an assistant those days. I preferred to follow the Doctor's availability and made my next appointment accordingly. But then I was asked by the staff if I never wanted to see anyone but Dr. Cropper, even if it required a long wait for an appointment. What a question to ask! I said, "no," how can I know in advance that I won't have an emergency and need to see someone, even if not my preference. My prescriptions didn't show up at my pharmacy later that day. The next day, I called Dr Cropper's office and her staff me told to call the pharmacy again. After pushing the offce staff and suggesting she check where my prescription was sent, she checked it and saw it was sent to the wrong pharmacy. Even I wasn't blaming Dr Cropper's office, she took the initiative to blame me saying I must have given the wrong info or approved it (I didn't - that Pharmacy is in another city that I don't know anything about). She said I should call the wrong pharmacy myself and have the prescription redirected. At that time she said Dr. Cropper will be away for 2 weeks and could not solve the prescription problem. This annoyed me, and after some cross words with the staff, the I was told me they would try to fix the prescription.

She has been my Dr for over 10yrs. I feel comfortable in her office and I trust her diagnosis. I appreciate her friendly smile and professionalism.
