Dr. Stephanie B Davis

We have been going to Dr. Stephanie Davis every six months for over a year. Each time she explains that it is too early for braces and there is no money talk at all. But the most important thing is that she took the time to examine my child, made us feel comfortable, and thoroughly explained what we can expect. The previous orthodontist we saw, with the fancy office, spent more time explaining the possible payment plans then discussing my child's teeth.

This was our second time seeing Dr. Davis and arrived there Sunday afternoon for a reevaluation. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we came in, and less than 5 minutes Dr. Davis came to get us. She took her time evaluating my child and explained all of the options and requested that I think it over before making a decision. Including that it may be premature to put braces on. They are wonderful, welcoming, and understanding. You can tell they are in it for the smiles, not the money. Side note: In 2012, we went to an orthodontist with a very fancy office that included gaming systems for the kids to play on while they wait. That orthodontist tried to convince me that my child needed braces and the sooner the better and I would need to come up with $4000 out of pocket, even though my insurance pays $1,500. We went to Dr. Davis for a second opinion, she thoroughly explained all of the possibilities since my child still had baby teeth and told us to be back in 6 months. No mention… of money at all.
