I am also appalled at these reviews. Dr Dettmer has been my primary care physician for almost 2 years. She has gone out of her way to treat me with kindness and compassion in a medical system that is overwhelmed with patients. I am a patient with complex health conditions and she takes her time with me. I often have to wait well past my appointment time to see her and it has always been worth the wait as she is honest and thorough. She does not sugar coat things, which I appreciate, because I leave my appointment knowing exactly what is going on and how it’s going to be handled.

I am appalled at these reviews... do you want some one to hold your hand and tell you what you want to hear, or someone who will go to the ends of the earth to save your life?

She is rude and condescending to her patients. Always making the patient feel like they did something wrong. I will never see her again.

This physician does not care a bit about her patients and should be ashamed to call herself an MD. My mother has to go through massive stress every time she wants her medications refilled. The pharmacy sends a refill request and Dr. Dittmer ignores it. She is unpleasant to patients and staff . I think she is smart but that is not what makes a good doctor.

i have had several diagnosis made in my chart without any follow up testing! I don't understand how this is even legal! horrible dr! rUDE!

This very young doctor has the poorest office side manner I have seen, with the exception of one physician, in all my 65 years,. She is arrogant, makes diagnoses without current/proper tests, and badgers patients. She also assumes that the patient is a specimen rather than a human being, and treats people badly, overall. She makes them wait and wait and wait. She does not answer messages or inquiries. By the time we got done with our "appointment", our heads were spinning so badly, I wanted to go have a drink, and I don't even drink at all anymore. I will be actively trying to find a new provider next week. I will work the phones until my fingers fall off if need be. The last thing in the world I wish is to see this person again. She embodies the word 'hubris'. One of these days someone will take her down off her mountain, and the sooner the better. She has a LOT to learn about interpersonal relationships between a doctor and a patient. I have no patience left for this… kind of know-it-all attitude and judgmental behavior.

Dr. does not call back.Nether does any of her staff.They leave you in pain for weeks without medication. Claim you are depressed when you are in pain. I called six times in two weeks with no resaults.
