Dr. Stephanie C Flom, MD

Flom gaslit me. After she performed a hysterectomy on me, I was experiencing spasms that felt like electrical shocks in my vagina. It was uncomfortable and distressing. When I told her about it, she looked at me in the eyes and chortled and said that never happens, and acted as if I was crazy. She didnt explore why I was having a distressing symptom. She just blew me off in a demeaning way, and I knew she was lying. I learned, years later that after surgeries, people can experience nerve damage, from them mucking about inside yourbody. The nerves usually repair themselves. My spasm went away in a few months. I have the feeling she lied to me to avoid a lawsuit, which was never on my mind, because I had trusted her, up until then. Her gaslighting me was an abusive thing to do. Additionally, they weirdly had no concern over the patients need for privacy while in stirrups. Theyd open the room doors wide so that not only medical staff could see you, but also patients, repairmen,… husbands with pregnant wives etc Twice I had to tell them to please close the blind in the exam room because my exposed body in stirrups was FACING IT. Again they acted like I was crazy for asking that.

Dr. Flom was not in so I had to see the PA, Kelly brown. Worst exam ever! She was rude and rough! Awful experience. Never followed up with me for my ongoing problem because all tests were negative. I had to look up the results myself. Was never informed of them by the Dr. or the office. Would NEVER recommend this office! :/

I felt like I was rushed through. Not enough time spent hormone issues. She just stated that if I wanted to discuss hormone replacement options, to let her know. This was my first appointement with Dr. Flom and I felt it should have been more thorough. I honestly don't remember how long I waited, but it must not have been too bad, or I would recall. I realize that Doctors need to push people throgh to an extent, but I really had questions that I did not even get to ask, much less resolve. Too bad, she came highly recommended to me by a good friend.

I waited over 2 hours before I saw Dr. Flom and I had an appointment of course---not to mention it was a morning appointment so I don't see how they could have been running that behind. Unprofessional staff. Cold bedside manner. I have a great experience everywhere and am a very warm happy person. I was very disappointed. I wish I had gone to someplace else.

i have been seeing Dr. Flom for just over 5 years, she always answers any and all of my questions and is up to date on the lasted medications. She has an excellent bedside manor. When i was pregant i called the office all the time and they were always willing to take the time to answer my questions. It is an all female staff which made me much more comfortable.

Dr. Flom was very compassionate and spent a lot of time with me at my appointment. She made me feel like she really cared and explained everything to me so that I could understand what was going on. I was able to get an appointment with her at 4:30 and they also offered me an early morning appt at 7:30 a.m.

First appointment, not enough specimen.Second appointment, they said they would not charge but they did cause I asked a question. They also tried to set me up with a physician's assistant even considering I was there for a repeat appointment. Third appointment, they sent me my results, and when I called to follow up they told me I would need to schedule an appointment to ask questions. Also there office hours are very inconvenient. They are only open till 4 M-th and 12 on Fri. No late days and they do not answer phones between hours of 12pm to 1:30pm.
