Dr. Stephanie F Freels, MD

I'm glad I didn't read her reviews here prior to seeing her. She knows what she's doing and is thorough and efficient. The office staff was professional and friendly for the most part and best of all my appointments have been right on time or even a little early! I don't like seeing doctors so I appreciate her no nonsense approach. I have/had basil cell carcinoma and after seeing Dr. Freels have no intention of looking for another Dermatologist.

I was extremely disappointed and now quite concerned with patient safety. It was against my better judgement to not search her before going to my appointment. I spent more time filling out my paperwork than actually with her for my persistent adult acne. She automatically threw four prescriptions, which require an odd dosage schedule (rotating creams) along with other oral antibiotics and another prescription, and gave no explanation on them, except to come back in 2 months. The assistant questioned why I would want a printout of my patient summary and why “I was confused” what I was taking, as I should have full disclosure of what I’m being given. I went to pick up my prescriptions and my local Walgreens, and the pharmacist was quite concerned that no one explained the drugs in the dr. office. One can cause extreme dizziness and unsafe levels of potassium which require lab tests every three months. Where was my explanation or paperwork, Dr. Freels? Are you waiting for something to… happen to a patient before caring about rushing them out of your office?

Rude front office and super rude doctor in and out in two minutes and never looked me in the eye!
