Dr. Stephanie Hamarman, MD

Due to covid we have been having telemedicine visits for my daughter with the doctor. She always calls promptly and we review the progress over the past month. She calls in prescriptions to my local pharmacy so we don't have to travel far. Although it has been difficult for my daughter with the isolation we are both comforted knowing that her doctor is compassionate and that we have been able to continue her medical care during the pandemic. We feel blessed.

My child has complex psychological problems and we had been to the big university programs where we were treated like a number. He needed a smart doctor who cared. Dr Hamarman knew more than the fancy doctors and gave me hope and a plan. Then I learned that she trained at University of Pennsylvania and won the Child Academy research award. Strongly recommend her if your child is having trouble

My son was her patient several years ago, but i am still disturbed by the experience. Her office at LICH was a mess, she sat behind her desk during her sessions with my nine year old, she failed, when asked, to communicate with his other doctors, and finally screamed at my son so loudly that I heard her in the waiting room. I went into her office, took my son by the hand, and left.

Dr Hamarman is a truly great doctor for children and young adults with emotional problems. She is extremely smart and knows all the latest developments. Yet she is also caring and made me feel comfortable.
