I do not think in all the years I have lived (octogenarian) I have been more satisfied with the quality of care of not only Dr. Hodson and Katie (her top nurse) but also the complete support staff!!! I am living proof that Dr Hodson is one, if not the top Doctor in her field. She studies her patients and knows with knowledge the path to take and works with many other professionals and her patients to select the treatment that suits the patient and type of Cancer that is identified. She also has insight to think outside the box and the contacts to search for the best specialist or surgeon possible, she gets the job done!!! I have trusted her with my life and am not disappointed!!! Dr Hodson is my choice for being the best of the best and recommend Dr Hodson with Gem State Cancer and Blood Specialists without hesitation!!!

I have been with Dr. Hodson for 3 years now. When I first started with her my expected outcome was less than 6 months. To summarize Doctor Hodson, I would say, focused, driven to find the best an newest treatment option, thorough in her research of your case and how to best tackle it, honest with both hopeful outcomes, but also with the reality of the situation. She cares eminhencelly about her patients and I’ve seen this with me, and in her eyes when she has had other patients who you could tell she was worried about. And maybe almost best if all, Dr. Hodson’s staff is A+. From the reception desk, to the MA and all the girls in between. They make you feel like family.

I was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin's lymphoma. Dr. Hodson, likes to establish a clear trajectory before commencing, and weighs the long-term effects. She truly does puts your interest above all. She is a wealth of knowledge and an ethical inspiration. Dr. Hodson is a true advocate for her patients. I am grateful. Dr Hodson saved my life!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Stehanie Hodson she always took her time and answered all my guestions. She was always compassionate, and I never felt like I was a number to her. I am still seeing her every year, it’s been 10 years since my aggressive breast cancer was found.

She is a cold and callous person. She has the bedside manner of the grim reaper. She does not care about her patients or if they are suffering from cancer. If you make any complaints against her she will make your life a living nightmare.

Dr. Hodson was not a very professional doctor for my Dad who suffered from Multiple Myeloma!!!! She NEVER visited him ONCE while he was dying at St. Als!!!! I would NEVER RECOMMEND her to anyone if you want a compassionate doctor!!!!!! She was AWFUL!!!! GO TO MSTI!!!!!

I had a bad experience with the radiation doctor and it took 2 weeks to get an appt with her about it. I was told I missed an appt about it the week before which I had never been contacted about. When we talked, I was basically told that I must have mis heard her when she said I had 5 years or less to live. That statement is not something anyone would forget. Even though I was reassured that "none of us are god" and it was not true. My first follow up was cancelled because she was ill. I called in a month later to say that I had radiation burns not healing and she had her receptionist call to say that I should just call my GP for help. Talk about non caring. Here I am almost 6 months later thinking I have very little time left on this earth {double mastectomy stage 1 cancer}. I now have even more of the open wounds that will not heal 6 months later. I went to my NP and went through lots of very strong antibiotics in pills and salves. She recommends that I go to a wound… center which I have now begun to arrange 6 months later. I have spent months of pain and depression because I just gave up and felt no one would ever help me, especially Dr. Hodson. She is a cold and uncaring doctor. She needs to remember that her patients need help and she should listen to them. I will never return to St. Al's and tell anyone who asks not to go there. Dr. Hodson has no idea how she has made me feel like a non person. Losing your breasts deserves at least one talk with her. I also feel like she would not listen and refused to believe what I was told in radiation. Please do not go to this hospital if you have cancer. You deserve more.
