Dr. Stephanie Lynn Kelton

Stephanie Kelton is an advanced practice registered nurse, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a diverse background. She graduated with a BA in Journalism from University of North Texas, as well as both BS and MS in Nursing from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She has over 15 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and over seven years as a PMHNP-BC. Her nursing experience varies across the lifespan in hospital settings for acute medical/surgical, telemetry, obstetrics and women’s health, post-partum care, as well as pediatrics. She has served patients as a PMHNP-BC in acute inpatient respite units, as well as community mental health outpatient care facilities, and a university healthcare setting. Stephanie enjoys treating the whole patient with individual goals and plans to meet their needs. She enjoys educating and collaborating with patients on diagnosis, symptom management, and treatment options through evidence-based …care. She is an advocate and ally for LGBTQI+ patients and enjoys volunteering and outreach in the community. In her past-time, Stephanie is close with family and friends, and enjoys traveling, live music, and reading.
