Dr. Stephanie Carol Montgomery, MD

I was admitted to the hospital after being brought into the emergency room by ambulance three times within two weeks. I was told that my gallbladder needed to be removed and it was infected because I had gallbladder disease. Once I was brought up to the seventh floor and I was given a consultation about the surgery that was gonna be done I was nervous. When the doctors came down and spoke to me and I met Dr. Montgomery she was just amazing. She made me feel comfortable and she also assured me that everything was gonna be taken care of and that I would feel much better afterwards! The team that works with her is also awesome every nurse, every registered nurse and every surgeon that worked alongside her they all made me feel so comfortable and safe. Even though I had to have my nasty gallbladder removed going through the process with a team of experts such as Dr. Montgomery and her team was comforting, it helped with my nerves, and I felt safe. I knew that I was in good hands. After my… surgery I came home I am super comfortable I have very small scars from the incisions and they must’ve called to check on me three or four times to make sure I was OK and to see how I was feeling. An amazing team of experts!

My Husband went to be evaluated for pain in his stomach he was referred by his PCP, but it did not go well. After scheduleing a cat scan it was cancelled by insurance because the wording for the request was not done correctly. So it was changed to a ultrasound, 3 days later he was told he had to go for a cat scan, which worried us. The cat scan was done but it took Dr Montgomery 8 days to get the results back to us. I would not recommend or return to this Dr.

I needed an emergency appendectomy, and Dr. Montgomery was on staff to do the surgery. The surgery went well without complication due to her skill. She also met with me after the surgery and was well beyond what I have ever experienced with any other doctor. She took the time to talk to me and explain what was occurring. If more surgery was required in the future I would trust my life again to Dr. Montgomery.

After second surgery with her, she never responded to any of my questions. Called her office about 10 times and never received a call back. Did not operate on the correct hernia and had to go back 4 months later for a second surgery and she got paid twice for her negligence.
