Dr. Stephanie Anne Morrison, MD

My son asked a question during his annual wellness visit, which Dr. Morrison couldn't answer. The question was outside her realm of expertise. Then she said she could refer us to a specialty doctor. We had no idea of what this implicated. Later I received a bill for this. According to the doctor, this is a "diagnosis", and hence should be charged.

I received two bills for yearly exams on my older children for an extra $70/each. When I called in to ask what the charges were for, they informed me that the exam went from preventative to a consultation when we asked a question about acne. Therefore it changed the billing from being preventative (and 100% covered by my insurance) to a consultation. This is obviously absurd and they called me a week later and told me that they were taking care of the bills. But a week after that they dropped me from the practice...I am guessing because I questioned the bill.

Doctor Bernzott seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing... She has a real problm talking to people in a respectfull manner and seems to get really flushed when she was talking to us. It seemed like she was making stuff up due to the flushing of her skin when she talked to us. Really frustrating talking to this doctor, she treated us like we were stupid. I do not recomend seeing this doctor.
