Dr. Stephanie Jane Richards, MD

I am a 69 year old patient of Dr. Richards. Sometimes you feel that as you age doctors don't seem to take the time that is needed for your medical health needs. Dr. Richards is wonderful!! She takes time, listens and really cares about your health! She has helped me so much. I am so thankful to have found her. I have worked with doctors for over 30 years and I feel that she is better than any that I have worked with.

I'm a trauma nurse of 30 years and trust Dr. Richards with my life and well-being. I have seen and worked with all sorts of MD's, and Dr. Richards is attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She helped me be accountable for improving my health in a kind and achievable way, and I am the better for it. How many MD's will check in with you to be sure you are OK after they get a summary from a consulting MD, just because they are concerned about how you may be coping with a new diagnosis? Not many, but Dr. Richards did! I often think our pets get better care and follow-up than human patients, but Dr. Richards defies the stereotype of disinterested, overworked MD's. Thank you to a beautiful human being.

Dr. Richards is absolutely wonderful! She listened to me and included me in decisions about my care. She made referrals of some very good specialists. The only disappointment is that she ended up being a provider at Urgent Care instead of staying in private practice. I still go to her at Urgent Care - she is that good. I am moving north, and I am so upset to be losing her as my PCP. It is so difficult to find good providers!
