Dr. Stephanie Settimi
Dr. Stephanie Settimi was also born and raised in Visalia, California. She completed her undergraduate training at UC San Diego and then worked abroad for a year in Switzerland, where her mother’s family resides. She then returned to complete dental school at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She has served as a Board member and president of the local Tulare Kings Dental Society. She volunteers her dental services at the Samaritan Center and also screens elementary school children for dental disease. She is proud to be carrying on the practice that was started by her father here in Visalia in 1971. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, rafting, whitewater kayaking, and international travel. Her travels have sent her around the world to places such as Thailand, Guatemala, Belize, Chile, Ecuador, and many European countries. She prefers to travel off the beaten path to fully …experience the culture and interact with the locals. She has many stories to share!
Dr. Ned Settimi
Dr. Ned Settimi, the patriarch of Settimi Family Dentistry, was born in Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1961. He served in the Airforce for many years, stationed at a hospital in Illinois, abroad in Turkey, and then Vandenburg Airforce base in California. He enjoyed the Californian way of life and over the objections of his family in Wisconsin, decided to stay and practice in California. He practiced in Los Angeles for several years before he opened the current practice in Visalia in 1971. After transitioning his two daughters into the practice, he retired in 2008. Many of the current patients fondly remember the two new doctors when they were just "little Settimi girls running around the office."
