Dr. Stephanie Joanne Shell, DO

I have been a patient of Dr Stephanie Shell's for many years and have found her to be an unfailingly good listener, intuitive diagnostician, and a highly empathetic professional. She has a deep knowledge of her field, and works with me to get the best results possible for my issues. I am very grateful to be in her care.

I am so happy I was convinced to go to Dr. Stephanie Shell. The MDVIP program is very worthwhile. Dr. Shell is extremely thorough, professional and laughs at my corniness!! That's a sure plus!! I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Shell and know that she is giving me her best in all forms of treatments, diagnosis and just listening. I never feel rushed to get out. I am always welcomed by Dr. Shell and her entire staff. They are professionals extraordinaire.

She is the best! Very thorough, understanding, and spends as much time as I need. I was in Florida a few years before I found the right doctor. I definitely recommend her very highly. Staff is great as well. Receptionist very friendly and helpful and the nurse is wonderful.

AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TRYING TO GET DR SHELL AS A PRIMARY DOCTOR AND NO RETURN CALLS, I WAS TOLD DR SHELL FELT I WAS NOT A GOOD FIT. I AT FIRST ASKED FOR HER TO RECONSIDER AND AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT; WHO WOULD WANT A DOCTOR WHO WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING YOU DOESN'T FEEL I AM A QUALIFIED PATIENT TO HAVE? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO DO NO HARM OR THE PATIENT COMES FIRST? I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT IS DR. SHELL WHO IS NOT A GOOD FIT, NOT THE PATIENT. DR. SHELL PROVIDES A SERVICE AND SHE DEFINITELY IS NOT DOING THAT. I'M A PRETTY PRESISTENT PERSONALITY AND MAYBE THAT IS WHY I WAS NOT A GOOD FIT! I ACTUALLY EXPECTED A DR. WHO WOULD THINK OF MY NEEDS FIRST AND NOT HER OWN.

Blessed to have found a doctor who actually treats you as a person, not a number!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Stephanie Shell since 2002. We were lucky to find her and are well pleased. Although the MDVIP program is expensive, it has been worth it to us. Dr. Shell personally answers our calls on her cell phone after hours. She recommends excellent specialists and gets us in to see them immediately. My husband has chronic health issues so this has been a blessing. She has seen visiting family members when needed. As long as we can afford it, we will stay with her. There is a big difference in this program-much more attention and individual care. I do not feel like I'm in an assembly line like in the other doctors' offices. We feel blessed and extremely lucky to have Dr. Shell.

Dr. Shell is warm and friendly. Explains all lab work and discusses plans for treatment when one-on-one in the office...but follow-up has, over 6 years time, been lacking. Numerous calls to get test results...impossible to speak with her on phone and always necessary to leave message on nurses voice mail...then wait for call back from nurse...

After 10 years of being a patient and never haveing a regular Dr. before, Dr. Shell has chosed to dump 1000 patients in order to get more money from a lesser amount of work load and accepting only the elite that can afford such services that should have been given anyway with no extra charge. Because her answer to Oboma Care rule changes is to throw away faithful patients, I would give her a zero. We also agree with one other comment that her staff was the worst I have ever experienced. No one answeres the phone and when you do ge tthrough, her nurse makes all the appts and it takes about days to call you back. She joined VIP MD which is conceiere medicine and promises nothing more than what she was providing before. To join each patient pays a fee of $1800 or more to get the same care you were already getting. Thanks for nothing Obama and Dr. Shell.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Stephanie Shell. She always takes time to listen to my concerns. She always knows things about me personally. I have never felt so relaxed and cared for with any other doctor. Her staff is always accomedating and caring as well. I am not sure about the other reviews I have read but that has not been my experience. My husband and I are life long patients. We love Dr. Stephanie Shell!
