Dr. Stephanie Ann Snyder, MD

After my former dermatologist retired, I was referred to Dr. Snyder. I waited a very long time to be seen, almost 5 months to be exact. I am disappointed with two things: 1) the amount of time that was spent with me, especially because I was a new patient. The forms took longer to fill out than the time that I actually spent with Dr. Snyder. I realize that it was just an annual check up, but it seems like there should have been more time spent on my overall skin health which leads me to my next issue. On my medical history, I indicated that I am taking a medication for acne. This was not brought up at all during my brief visit with Dr. Snyder. When I went to check out, I asked the receptionist to ask about taking over the refills. I was told that I would have to make another appointment (over my lunch hour) which is extremely frustrating. I have emailed the office twice and left messages for the office manager. No one but the person in charge of billing have gotten back to me, and I am… stuck with paying a bill not once, but now twice as I will be finding a new dermatologist.

I was seeing Dr. Stephanie Snyder regarding a few spots on my legs, check & nose. She recommended removing those spots by cutting them out. She said the spots would be gone & only small scar would be visible. Unfortunately, I agreed to do the procedure (only on my legs though). Not only the spots were not gone, but also scars appeared from the mini-surgery. I visited a different dermatologist who said that the surgery was not necessary as that would not remove the spots. Snyder simply wanted to make money & didn't really care about how my skin would look afterwards. Also, I compared her prices regarding spider veins removal which were much higher than other doctor's prices. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Snyder to anyone as she is money-oriented & doesn't care about how your skin looks afterwards. She will recommend to do a surgery for every single thing even though its not necessary.

I see Dr. Snyder for my annual mole/skin check up. She makes what could be an uncomfortable & dreaded visit, a no-worries one instead. Instead of putting off my yearly mole check, knowing it will be attended to by a kind, gentle doctor makes it much easier to just get it done! Dr. Snyder is very efficient, and checks things over quietly and thoroughly without making you feel like she's looking at you with a magnifying glass. I believe she knows what she is looking at/for, too, as she can quickly calm me that something I was worried about is nothing, while at the same time noticing things I thought were nothing as really things to keep an eye on. The staff is friendly there too, and my usual 15 minute wait is mainly just to update my paperwork.If you have been putting off getting your moles or other possibly suspicious skin things, don't risk your health any longer by putting it off - go see Dr. Snyder today!
