Dr. Stephanie R Straka, DO

We have been seeing Dr. Straka for several years and she is phenomenal. We call her "the kid whisperer". She knows my daughter so well and has always spent time with us listening to our concerns and providing extremely helpful solutions. We know that we are getting sound medical advice and care from a true professional. Dr. Straka loves her patients and it shows.

I’m not sure what everyone else is talking about, but every appointment we’ve had with Dr. Straka has never been shorter than 45 minutes long. She has always taken the time to fully discuss all and any concerns we may be having, all methods of treatment, and all possible outcomes that may arise. She has always been kind, compassionate and very patient with us and always promptly responds to messages. My son has been a patient for nearly two years now, and we were not nearly this happy with our previous developmental pediatric practice. I highly recommend her.

This was my first exposure to a developmental pediatrician. She did not address my concerns, don’t think she even heard me say anything. Only saw my daughter for 20min in her life and told me my daughter would “outgrow her autism symptoms”. Follow up paperwork included information/diagnosis that wasn’t even discussed when we were there for the second 20min follow up appt. Not impressed at all.

Dr Straka doesn’t listen, mails document with inaccuracies, has one diagnosis for everyone, extremely unprofessional.... the list goes on and on. Don’t waste your time!
