I absolutely LOVE Dr. Swords! She was extremely efficient and professional and seems extremely knowledgeable. She specifically steered me away from more expensive treatment options when she felt like less expensive options were just as viable. That was refreshing! She even took the time to explain to me that sometimes insurance doesn't cover procedures even when they call to confirm benefits. If you have teeth, and would like to keep them, I recommend you visit Dr. Swords. I'm putting 5 minutes in wait time, because 0 wasn't an option.

Dr. Swords and her staff are awesome! The office is beautiful and welcoming, and the chair even massages while I get my teeth worked on! My visit was definitely one of the best of any healthcare provider I have ever been to. Dr. Swords is also very caring and knowledgeable. She explained things very well and she doesn't pressure-sell you like a lot of other offices do. I also love that she teaches at the dental school here in Dallas. I have finally found my new dentist after moving here about a year ago. I will be referring my friends and family too.

Very disappointed with their service. They recommended a procedure and told me that it was covered by my dental plan. Several weeks later I get a bill for the entire procedure and then was told that the procedure was not covered.

I don't recommend this dentist to anyone. SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT BOOK ANY TYPE OF APPOINTMENT HERE!! They DO NOT GIVE ACCURATE COST ESTIMATES AND THEY WILL HARASS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY LATER. They are rude, unprofessional and they don't tell you the truth upfront. I booked an appointment and they told me everything was covered. Then when my parents showed up for their cleaning, they were harassed for the remaining balance I didn't even know I had. They didn't call me or send me a bill before threatening my parents that they won't clean their teeth because I owed a small balance. I am a grown woman, so I found it very inappropriate to consult them about my bills before speaking with me about the balance.They also gave my parents inaccurate estimates and recommend a procedure to my mom that she didn't need. They lied my parents and told them a procedure was fully covered by insurance before actually checking, and turns out the procedure wasn't even covered at all. Then they sent my… parents a bill for the full cost of an unnecessary procedure after they told them it was covered. There are far better dentist in McKinney, so I recommend anyone who is reading this to save themselves from inaccurate estimates and unnecessary procedures!!
