Had a double extraction on Tuesday. Wednesday morning woke up with hives and extreme itching. Immediately called the office, to get a different pain medication. But was told by the receptionist that Dr Stephanie said to continue pain meds, cut them in half and take Beneydrl to counteract the allergic reaction. Really, as an adult, I'm supposed to continue medication I'm experiencing severe signs of allergic reaction and let's add Benadryl. . I own and operate a business can you imagine walking around with hives, itching and a dose of Benadryl. So now, Advil will do. The throbbing doesn't end. I absolutely hate to call again, but I realize I have a dry socket. I call again. Yes, it is the weekend, and explain my symptoms to the woman on call. Mind you, I am continuing work, and the pain is excruciating. I know I need the extraction site cleaned out, and packed with medications. But no, again I am told this is normal pain, and to deal with it until Tuesday, when… her office is open again. I really tell the person on call what I feel about this whole ordeal and cancel all pending APPOINTMENTS. This is beyond a poor review. I truly hope no one has to go through what I did this week I'll never go back
