Dr. Stephen Bair

I have been seeing Dr. Bair for years at his family practice location. I recently needed an appointment with him and went to visit him at his new Banner health location. I was extremely poorly treated. I had a wait time of over two hours before anyone even came to see me. One of the medical students that I'm used to seeing with Dr. Bair came into the room took my information and basic vitals. After she left I waited about another half an hour before Dr. Bair finally came into the room to see me. I was there for a really severe rash in a rather private area and was wearing a small paper cover up sheet over my waist. Dr. Bair walked into the exam room leaving the door wide open while people walked through the hallway! He proceeded to examine my groin area, much to my great discomfort with the door WIDE OPEN. He spent maybe three minutes with me before declaring it a rash. He asked me to keep it dry and come back if it spread than sent me home after asking little to no questions.… Needless to say the rash got so bad within three days I now have to see a dermatologist. This visit was a waste of money and time. I am very disappointed with a doctor I once trusted.

nice doc but the worlds rudest staff wait time to see doc always bad and he always has drug reps visiting. On the positive side he seems to be a nice man

I have been going to this doctor for years, I have also put up with horrible long waits to see doctor. The staff has been very rude to me many times. I needed forms to be filled out and had to make many calls to get anything done. I'm finally done seeing this doctor!!

I dont' know why I gave him another chance. I originally went to this doctor for an MRI but it was not possible due to the cost to my insurance company (He must get a bonus when he saves the insurance company money at the patients expense). Didn't see him for years, until... My 1st Appointment which was a Friday at 2:30. Arrived to the office and waited for an hour until the nurse came out and explained that the doctor was to busy to see any other patients for the day. Rescheduled for the upcoming Tuesday and when I arrived they informed me that i was not in the system and that I'm sol. (that will be the last time I give this practice a chance).

Would not recommend this office due to an extremely mean and inconsiderate office manager. Dr. Bair is a good doctor but the way I was treated by his office manager Julie was unacceptable.

Julie ( I think the office manager)was extremely helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to take care of my medical issues, and then helped me with medical records and billing too! Thank you! Doctor Bair seemed very compassionate and took extra time with me. I think he does that with everyone, and that does make him run behind. It is frustrating to wait, but it was worth it this time. The receptionist was a little abrupt, and always seems unhappy or inconvenienced. The rest of the staff is awesome !

My family and I have been with Dr. Bair for over 10 years. Basically waiting time is an issue and the idea your time is not valuable comes across from the staff as well.

The office manager is very unprofessional. always agrumentative, doesn't listen well to complaints. very opionated, gives out bad information. Other office staff ok. Dr. Bair seems concerned when diagnosing a person, however orders up everything he can think of in regards to lab tests, and doesn't seem to care that your insurance may not cover it.

he thought i had a food allergie.i didnti had a heart prob.ended up in e.r. and the hospital for mounths.never even siad he was sorry for messing up.

Reception Staff is border line rude--once your past them everyone is nice
