Dr. Stephen E Allen, MD

Dr. Steven Allen was my OBGYN in 1998 and delivered my daughter, who is now 29 years old. What has always stood out to me about Dr. Allen is that he went far beyond simply being my physician. During one of the most devastating seasons of my life, when my mother was hospitalized, he came to visit her repeatedly — even though she was not his patient. That level of compassion and care is something I have never forgotten. Dr. Allen practices medicine with integrity, honesty, and genuine concern for his patients and their families. He is not afraid to set healthy boundaries when needed, and he does so out of care — not convenience. Nearly three decades later, I can still say that he made a lasting impact on my life and my family. Every time I came to my appointments (and I have had him for 5 years and finally have a new doctor), I was rushed in and out. My medical records were merged with another patient, they lost record of sending lab work out and had to have me come back in to redraw my blood. I have never had such an unorganized and rushed experience with not just the doctor but staff and overall office experience.

Dr. Allen always listens to you, he takes time in your room to give you a chance to ask or think of any questions you may have for him. He goes above and beyond in delivery. I had two difficult deliveries and he took incredible care of me. He is compassionate and great bedside manners. Explains everything so you will understand. Takes what is best for the patient in mind in every decision.

He listens to you, he doesn't rush out and he has put up with me and my issues for years :)
