Dr. Stephen F Belfiglio, DO

Dr Belfiglio has been my PCP for many years now. I used to be quite fit, and didn't fall ill often, so my visits to the Dr were restricted to one or two times a year. During a recent visit, he failed to diagnose that I had pneumonia. If I hadn't gone to an Urgent care doctor for a second opinion (who actually diagnosed it correctly), my condition would have gotten much serious. Dr Belfiglio, in my opinion is not a good doctor, and keeps shooting arrows in the dark, without providing correct diagnosis.

I've been a patient of Dr. Belfiglio for many years; he and the nursing staff have been really great. When it comes to dealing with the office staff, it is hit or miss, and that is being nice. To deal with the office via phone is a nightmare (again, being trying to be nice).

Dr. Belfiglio's 1st visit seemed to be qualified..... At 2 wk. follow up, he was Overwhelmed with TOO heavy of a patient load! ( told in waiting room that this is typical ) Consequently, he had completely "forgotten" who I was and even his "medical notes" were lacking in detail so needed to REPEAT my full history'!!! I'd hate to have him error + prescribe the wrong medicine??? NO help with referring advice for other specialists. Part of Penn Medicine network, found to be inferior quality vs. Main Line Health being higher professional status! Seek out ANOTHER better qualified GP for your health needs. Your health deserves MUCH better care!!'

I think he's a really good understanding doctor who takes time to listen to you. I have been seeing him for many years (and most of my family have also).
