ABOS says he's not Board Certified! Why does Mercy let a non ABOS certified Dr treat people???

I went to get relief from the pain I had for over 3 months. i was in pain and he would not give me anything. plus, he has a trouble bed side manner. i would never recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Benz did my right knee and everything turned out great! He just did my left knee and another fine job. However, the office people do NOT return phone calls! I was in a lot of pain and needed to change my meds, but nobody called back after 4 days of messages!! Poor customer service!!

1st visit 5 minutes ac separation grade 3. 2 weeks after accident he tells me I can go back to work even tho I can't raise my arm but come back in 2 weeks and he will start my PT. Never looked at my shoulder or took another x-ray nothing. Go back 2 weeks later he says raise your arm, I said it still hurts and grinding huge bump on shoulder and dropping shoulder no x-ray again and proceeds to say no PT cause your insurance won't cover and wrote me a work release out for full duty no restrictions. He did not do anything another 5 minute visit. I will not be returning lazy rude and inconsiderate!!!

I went and saw Dr. Benz for a sore shoulder. Another doctor told me I needed surgery. Dr. Benz gave me a cortisone shot and sent me to therapy. Now my shoulders fine. I like it when a surgeon didn’t always push you into an operation. I would recommend him to anyone

I saw Dr Benz for a very painful arthritic shoulder. I had tried all sorts of medicine and therapy and it didn’t do a thing. When I first saw Dr Benz he sat down and listened to what I told him about how painful it was. He examined me and said I needed a reverse shoulder replacement. He did the surgery and it went great. The pain is gone and I can move my shoulder a lot better. I am so grateful for what he did. He listened to me and then took care of me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had real bad arthritis of my left knee. Dr Benz did a partial knee replacement after all the other options didn’t work. I’m now back to work as a carpenter with no problems. People can’t believe how good I’m doing. I would recommend him to anyone.

Was told to come to my appointment 30 minutes early to fill out a half sheet of paper. Waited an additional 45 minutes after my appointment time. I asked how much longer and was told I was next. I then watched the entire waiting room get recycled again while always being told I was next. At least this gave me time to read the other reviews of this office. Waisted a huge amount of time and after 1.5 hour wait, decided to take my money elsewhere.
