Dr. Stephen Oscar Bookin

Though Dr. Bookin is obviously an expert, I believe that Low T is a huge problem in my life and the ntests ALL point to Low T, but he wants to try decreasing SSRI's and check back in 6 months. There is no evidence or black box warning to suggest that my SSRI's could lead to Low T. Prescribe the TRT and let's check back in a month and see if my life has improved rather than making we wait another 6 months feeling the effects of Low T.

Dr. Bookin is very knowledgeable, thorough and caring.

I have gone to doctor Bookin for over a year now and the ONLY reason I have gone this long is due to my insurance. This doctor has terrible bedside manner, he does not listen to your own observations and symptoms, when you want to take a different path on medical tretment other then his he flat out refuses. I always feel belittled, frusterated and like I wasted my time when I leave him. When I tell him I have been doing research on my own and bring in that research, he refuses to look at it or offers me a reason as to why we can't try another method of treatment. He likes to remind me that he has a PHD and many years of experience in the field, making me feel like he could care less about how I feel towards matters of my treatment. He is aggogent, pompus, disrespectful, belittling, and very un-professional. When I leave him I have no answers as to why I am always nauseous, weak, have a lot of hair loss, my weight goes up and down like a roller coaster, ect... I am 27 years old and… should not feel like this and he has no compassion nor does he seem to want to make anything better. When he does change my medicine he sends a letter in the mail that takes two weeks for me to recieve instead of calling me immediately so maybe I can suffer less. He is cruel, appalling, obnoxious, and offensives in his treatment of his patients. NEVER go to him, unless you want to leave there feeling worst then before.
