Dr. Stephen Anthony Brigido, MD

Brigido said he would alleviate my Achillies tendonitis with a tendon release. After the surgery, which Brigido said was a success, and weeks of physical therapy at Coordinated Health, it was obvious I could not walk properly because I could not go up on the balls of my feet. Brigido couldn't and didn't provide an explanation. It was only when I went to another doctor who explained that whenever you do a tendon release you lose strength. Brigido never explained this was a risk nor that it happened. He's either a liar, incompetent or both. Since I've personally heard, read and seen other horror stories from his patients, I'd say he's both incompetent and a liar. I would never go to him or Coordinated Health again and I certainly don't recommend them.

This guy should be halted from further practice based on My atrocity

He messed up my feet badly. Never told me he was cutting down my big toes and leaving screws in my feet. I had nothing but pain for 2 yrs, kept saying I could wear any shoe I wanted, yet injected my foot with steroids. So, after he stalled so the statute of limitations ran out, he knew I couldn't sue because he had no clue. Said I had a neuroma he could cut out. Told by a specialist never a neuroma. I didn't need bunionectomy. It was my metatarsals. Three other doctors told me this. Still have bunion. Don't trust him. Go somewhere else.

I was an active 40 yr old runner who averaged 50-60 mls/wk. Dr. Brigido botched a routine surgery on my heel which developed into an infection. He denied the infection for an entire year, until I was finally diagnosed with Osteomylitis and found another surgeon who was able to remove much of the infected heel bone, surroundings tissue and Achilles tendon. I barely walked for 18 mths. In short, stay far, far away from this doctor. His level of incompetency and the fact that he is still practicing is terrifying.

Horrible. Only wants your money, in a hurry to perform surgery. Doesn't care about your health. He will destroy your feet as he's done to mine and many others. I had so much pain after his surgery I couldn't wear shoes and he had no answers. Finally found a real doctor who fixed his botched surgery.
