Dr. Stephen Kent Burger, MD

I was referred to this Dr by another one of my Doctors. His staff is friendly but very un organized. Dr Burger introduced himself but had no interest at all why I was referred or my prior history. He was more concerned talking about how he knows my prior Dr and he was too busy disrespecting another Dr of the same field. No bed side manners at all. Don’t waste your time

Like I said - What a HUGE waste of time. It was over 45 minutes late when he finally got to my room. Then proceded to act like I was impending on his lunchtime! I went to him to find out about my seizures and neuropathy and all he could say was, "There's nothing I can do for you. Have a nice day," and proceeds to walk out the door as I'm continuing to try and tell him all my symptoms. Then has the audacity to charge $499 for no service at all. I called our insurance to charge fraud as this visit was not a visit at all since he left before I even got to tell him most of what I went there for. I would not go there again if he was the last Dr anywhere. He should lose his licence for stealing insurance money and risking people's health!

Told me I was making up my symptoms and put me on an antidepressant. Got a second opinion from Wash U and ended up needing brain surgery because, surprise! I wasn't faking it ?? Dont waste your time

Office does not follow up and does not return phone calls. Dr. is not accessible. Examine room wait time is 45 minutes, to spend less than 10 minutes with patient. Was suppose to set up additional test, but he never did. Tried to contact the office they never returned phone calls. Does not have an exchange for after hours emergencies or for days when the office is closed. Terrible experience with this Dr. with situations that are life and death.

Wouldn’t recommend this doctor's office if he was the last doctor on the planet and you were dying, because you won’t get a call back before you’re dead. It's been just shy of 3 weeks since my original appointment and I've been leaving voice messages this entire 3rd week with no reply! All to just schedule my MRI and MRA which is clearly not important to them. I called my primary doctors office that recommended him to send me to a new doctor. They did try and call Dr. Burgers office 3 days in a row and Dr. Burger's staff is apparently too good to even call them back .... and they're the ones who are referring their patients to them! If you actually need to see a doctor, don’t waste your time. I would have given this a 0 star rating if it would of allowed me.

Experience was good overall, and the doctor did identify part of a problem and gave prescription for that, but had no answer for other issues.

This entire staff and the doctor have been wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

I haven't even gone to see this doctor because I have been unsuccessful in making an appointment. I called and got in touch with someone after a day. She told me the new lady that handles new patient appointments would call me back. It's been about a week, and I have not received a call. I've tried calling at least 5 times myself, and all I get is their recording. I've left messages, even saying that I'd have to seek out a different doctor is they didn't call me back soon, and they still didn't call me back. I guess they have all the patients they need. And based on the other reviews, they don't appreciate the patients that they have. Too bad. I'll be looking for another doctor.

The Doc shared/imposed personal political views with me which dominated the conversation v. discussing the medical issues that brought me to his office.
